Bullying remains a common problem among elementary school students and may be influenced by peer relationships. This study aimed to analyze the effect of peer roles on bullying incidents among students at SDN Kraton, Kediri Regency. The study employed an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 57 students from grades IV, V, and VI, selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using linear regression. The results showed that peer roles had a significant effect on bullying behavior, with a p-value of 0.016 (p < 0.05) and a beta coefficient (β) of 0.327. This finding indicates that the greater the negative influence of peers, the higher the tendency of students to engage in bullying behavior. These findings confirm that peer roles are an important factor in shaping bullying behavior among elementary school students. The contribution of this study is to provide empirical evidence regarding the influence of peer roles on bullying incidents, which can serve as a basis for schools to develop bullying prevention programs through fostering positive peer relationships and strengthening character education. This study is expected to support efforts to create a safe, comfortable, and bullying-free school environment.
