PEMANFAATAN POTENSIAL TUMBUHAN SEBAGAI SUMBER PANGAN DI DESA PUNCAK JERINGO LOMBOK TIMUR
Abstract
Puncak Jeringo Village is located right at the foot of Mount Rinjani at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level (DPL). The majority of the Puncak Jeringo community are farmers. This study aims to determine the potential use of plants as a food source in Puncak Jeringo Village, East Lombok. The method used in data collection is a descriptive method. Interview techniques are used in this study to obtain information directly by asking questions to respondents. Interview techniques in this study are carried out in detail and in depth (in-depth interviews) to dig up the necessary data. The tools used during the interview are questionnaires that have been prepared to facilitate the interview process with respondents. The results of the study obtained a total of 7 plant species that have the potential as a food source in Jeringo Village, namely: Corn / Zea mays. Banana / Musa Paradisiaca. Stem tuber / Manihot esculenta Crantz. Taro Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott. Sweet potato/Ipomoea batatas L. Field rice/Oriza satifa. Porang/ Amorphophallus muelleri.
