Abstract

Integrasi teknologi internet of things (IoT) dan cloud computing dalam peternakan sapi cerdas merupakan langkah penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas, dan keberlanjutan pengelolaan ternak. Penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan literatur terhadap publikasi nasional dan internasional periode 2018–2025 yang membahas penerapan IoT dan cloud computing dalam smart cattle farming. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi IoT memungkinkan pengumpulan data real-time terkait kesehatan, perilaku, dan lingkungan ternak, sementara cloud computing berperan dalam penyimpanan, analisis, dan visualisasi data untuk pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Beberapa studi menegaskan bahwa integrasi multisensor dan pemanfaatan energi surya mampu meningkatkan akurasi sistem hingga 97% serta mendukung efisiensi energi di wilayah pedesaan. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan konektivitas internet, keamanan data, dan skalabilitas sistem masih perlu diatasi. Penguatan infrastruktur digital dan penerapan teknologi berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) menjadi arah pengembangan masa depan untuk mewujudkan sistem peternakan sapi yang cerdas, efisien, dan berkelanjutan.
