STATISTIC OF AOHJ
Aspiration of Health Journal (AOHJ) accepts original scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the development of scientific knowledge, clinical practices, and healthcare policy in the broadest sense of health disciplines. Submissions encompass public health, nursing, midwifery, medicine, pharmacy, health psychology, nutrition, health technology, health analysis, health information systems, medical records, health law, and hospital management. All submissions must align with the journal's focus and scope, demonstrate methodological rigor, and comply with the journal's author guidelines, biomedical research ethics, and publication policies.
The journal considers the following types of manuscripts:
Original Research Articles report findings from empirical, observational, experimental, or field investigations conducted with rigorous scientific methods. Manuscripts must clearly articulate the clinical or public health problem, study objectives, theoretical foundations, detailed methodology, findings, critical discussion, and conclusions.
Research may use quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches, including cross-sectional surveys, cohort studies, case-control analyses, randomized trials, clinical experiments, laboratory evaluations, or community-based participatory research.
Topics span epidemiology, maternal and child health, clinical nursing interventions, pharmaceutical analysis, health behavior, clinical nutrition, health diagnostic testing, health metrics, and healthcare operations.
Literature Review Articles offer a systematic, critical, or integrative examination of published scholarly literature within the multidisciplinary health domain.
These manuscripts must synthesize current evidence, analyze theoretical paradigms, identify empirical gaps, evaluate methodological approaches, and highlight directions for future health research or practice. Authors must apply transparent and reproducible protocols for search strategy, study selection, critical appraisal, and data synthesis.
Submissions employing established methodologies—such as Systematic Literature Reviews following PRISMA guidelines, scoping reviews, meta-analyses, or bibliometric analyses—are prioritized.
Case Reports and Case Studies provide in-depth clinical or practical examinations of unique, rare, or complex clinical conditions, healthcare management dilemmas, or organizational interventions.
Manuscripts should present patient or institutional context, diagnostic assessments, therapeutic or managerial interventions, clinical outcomes, and an analytical discussion examining lessons learned, implications for practice, and contributions to clinical knowledge or healthcare administration.
Topics include rare clinical presentations, novel diagnostic or nursing care pathways, hospital governance challenges, electronic medical record implementation cases, or health legal disputes.
Conceptual and Health Policy Articles develop, refine, or critique frameworks, conceptual models, and policy mechanisms relevant to health systems, public health regulations, and healthcare management.
Manuscripts must deliver an analytical argument grounded in health sciences literature, proposing novel frameworks, addressing regulatory controversies, or re-evaluating established health promotion models. Topics include health equity frameworks, healthcare financing reforms, medical record governance, health law integration, and health information infrastructure planning.
Applied and Health Technology Research Articles evaluate practical health challenges and present applied, technological, or systemic solutions for healthcare environments.
Manuscripts examine implementations such as hospital management information systems, medical record digitization, diagnostic software validation, clinical instrument testing, telehealth adoption, and workflow optimization in clinical or laboratory settings. Submissions must supply clear technical or analytical documentation, empirical validation data, and practical guidance for clinicians, hospital administrators, health technologists, or policymakers.
All manuscript types must satisfy the following criteria:
Originality: Submissions must represent original scholarly work and must not have been published previously or be under consideration elsewhere, except where an explicit preprint exception is requested and approved by the editorial team.
Relevance: Manuscripts must address topics directly situated within the focus and scope of Aspiration of Health Journal (AOHJ).
Scientific and Methodological Quality: Hypotheses, research design, protocols, analytical execution, and interpretations must meet high standards of scientific validity and reproducibility.
Ethical Compliance: Authors must follow ethical protocols governing health research, including obtaining institutional ethical clearance, securing informed consent for human participants, ensuring patient anonymity, and adhering to standards on authorship, plagiarism, and artificial intelligence usage.
Formatting: Manuscripts must adhere to the official Aspiration of Health Journal (AOHJ) template, citation format, and author guidelines.
Editorial Assessment: Submissions undergo preliminary editorial screening for scope alignment, plagiarism limits, and guideline adherence before progression to double-blind peer review.
Acceptance relies on originality, methodological soundness, scientific contribution, clarity, and full adherence to the journal's publication standards. The editorial board retains authority to evaluate suitability, mandate revisions, or issue rejections per established editorial policies.
