STATISTIC OF PRIMER
PRIMER: Jurnal Ilmiah Multidisiplin accepts various types of scholarly manuscripts to support its multidisciplinary scope and general works category. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that fall into one of the following categories:
1. Original Research Articles These are full-length, empirical research papers that present novel findings from primary data collection. Research articles can employ quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches. The manuscript must represent a significant advancement in the respective field of study and typically follows the standard IMRaD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion), concluding with the implications of the findings.
2. Review Articles Review articles provide a comprehensive, critical analysis and synthesis of existing literature on a specific topic within the journal's scope. This category includes systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and scoping reviews. Review papers should identify gaps in the current research, propose new theoretical frameworks, or suggest directions for future studies rather than merely summarizing previously published literature.
3. Case Studies and Case Reports These manuscripts present an in-depth, detailed examination of a specific subject, such as a community, organization, event, policy, or clinical case. Case studies should offer valuable insights into real-world phenomena, demonstrating practical applications of theories or highlighting unique, complex problems and their solutions within a multidisciplinary context.
4. Adapted Thesis and Dissertation Works PRIMER welcomes manuscripts that are condensed and adapted from a student’s master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation. These submissions must be entirely reformatted to fit the journal's standard article structure and length, rather than simply being a direct excerpt from the original academic document. The primary supervisor should typically be included as a co-author, provided they meet the authorship criteria.
5. Book Reviews Book reviews offer a critical evaluation of recently published scholarly books that are highly relevant to the journal's multidisciplinary audience. A successful book review should not only summarize the book's content but also analyze its arguments, methodology, and overall contribution to the broader academic discourse.
Note: Regardless of the manuscript type, all submissions must adhere strictly to the journal's formatting guidelines, academic integrity standards, and aim to be accessible to a broad, multidisciplinary readership.
